TRAINING FOR OUR VETERANS

Therasage EMC Equine and K9 Massage Certification is Approved for Federal VA Education Benefits!

Veterans often qualify for free training programs because of the GI Bill, a government benefit that helps cover the cost of education and job training for veterans, acknowledging their service and potential need for skills development to transition smoothly into civilian careers. The GI Bill provides financial assistance to cover tuition, fees, which means, as a Veteran, you can achieve certification in Equine or K9 massage through Therasage EMC, and go on to establish an independent career.

About the GI Bill

Post-9/11 GI Bill & Montgomery GI Bill

You can use GI Bill benefits for non-college degree programs as a Veteran, service member, member of the National Guard or Reserve,
or qualified dependent.

GI Bill benefits help you pay for school and cover expenses while you’re training for a job. Since 1944, the GI Bill has helped qualifying Veterans and their family members get money to cover all or some of the costs for school or training.

If you’ve served on active duty after September 10, 2001, you may qualify for the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

The Post-9/11 GI Bill and the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) differ in the types of courses they cover, how they pay benefits, and how they are tailored to meet veterans' needs.

The Post-9/11 GI Bill covers degree-producing courses at institutions of higher learning, while the Montgomery GI Bill

covers technical, trade, license, and certification courses, as well as on-the-job training and apprenticeship training. Each program has its own eligibility criteria and payment rates.
